Chapter Arts Centre - If your looking for something diverse, ethnic, or challenging this is your place.
Cinemas
Cardiff has the highest amount of cinema screens per head of population, for a cornucopia of choice check out:
- Ster Cinema - next to Millennium Stadium
- Virgin - next to Jury's Hotel and Cardiff International Arena
- UCI - special gold star to this one part of Atlantic Wharf Leisure Village. Located in Cardiff Bay not only a multiscreen cinema but also under the same roof, several bars and restaurants, bowling alley and nightclub. You could be anywhere in the UK but fabulously convenient.
Concert Halls
If U2 or Robbie Williams haven't set up camp at the Millennium Stadium why not check out who's playing at the CIA. The Cardiff International Arena spacious 5000 seat conference hall, where the likes of Stereophonics, Craig David and various pop acts strut their stuff.
If you'd prefer something classical like the Berlin Philharmonic why not try St David's Hall, which has recently been the stage for some amazing performances featuring the likes of Lesley Garret and James Taylor.
Comedy Clubs
If alternative comedy is what you are looking for then Cardiff has a selection of comedy nights at a number of venues including:
